The World Health Organization (WHO) reports an outbreak of what is suspected to be the deadly Marburg virus in Tanzania. At least nine cases and eight deaths have been reported. The risk of the outbreak spreading is described as “high” due to “several factors of concern”, including evidence of geographic spread.
