Pilar Ramírez became one of the most influential figures in Karina Milei’s political circle. Little known outside the libertarian ecosystem until 2024, today she is a key operator in the Buenos Aires assembly of La Libertad Avanza and one of the architects of the displacement of Ramiro Marra in the City Legislature. A Buenos Aires legislator and the most trusted cadre of the President’s sister, Ramírez went in one year from being a low-profile official to occupying a decisive role in the design of libertarian power in CABA.
Married to Darío Wasserman, a real estate businessman and director of Banco Nación, Ramírez combines technical ties with political ancestry. Her past, however, became a topic of debate when images linking her to La Cámpora began to circulate. In an interview with Paulino Rodrigues, the journalist questioned her directly: “Were you a camper and a Kirchnerist?”, while showing alleged photos where she was seen wearing a t-shirt from the group. Ramírez emphatically denied: “I, above all, am a woman who has worked a lot,” she responded, and upon seeing the images she stated: “The one in the photo is not me.”
The episode didn’t end there. Hours later, Ramírez published on his X account the clipping of the report accompanied by the phrase: “End of fake news, hug”, reinforcing his public denial. He had previously clarified on LN+ that “I was never active in La Cámpora” and that his time at Aerolíneas Argentinas during Mariano Recalde’s management was strictly work-related.
According to Perfil, her rise within Mileism coincided with the growth of Karina Milei’s political power: it was she who reorganized the Buenos Aires libertarian bloc, negotiated candidacies and ended up displacing Marra from legislative control. Furthermore, his incorporation into the national LLA board stands out, where he became an indispensable figure for the internal articulation of the ruling party.
With previous state experience, business ties and a categorical denial of any campist past, Ramírez embodies the new prototype of Mileism operator: discreet, loyal and strategic, the figure who today translates Karina Milei’s will at every political table.
