Whitney come back to Germany. The Chicago folk rockers released their fourth album, Spark, in September 2022. On this occasion, the band also goes on a European tour.

However, the previously announced dates have been changed: the concert in Berlin will be postponed to next year, the other German dates will be cancelled.

The band was originally scheduled to play at the Columbia Theater in Berlin on November 13th. The gig is now rescheduled to February 16, 2023. Already purchased tickets remain valid. Shows in Cologne, Munich and Hamburg were also planned for November. These three concerts have now been cancelled. Tickets can be returned at the respective pre-sale points.

Whitney was formed in 2014 by guitarist Max Kakacek and drummer and vocalist Julien Ehrlich. They already drew attention to themselves with their debut album “Light Upon the Lake” (2016). In 2022 the fourth album “Spark” was released. Here the band turns from folk rock towards pop, but the falsetto singing remains as a trademark.

“Due to unforeseeable circumstances, we have to postpone our upcoming tour to spring 2023,” the band said. “We’ve rescheduled as many shows as we can. Please keep your tickets as they will be valid for the rescheduled shows. If your show is not relocated, you will automatically receive a refund at the point of sale. We look forward to seeing you in February.”
