The role of Viiru and Pesonen has been with Jouni Jalovu, a Kotka from Kotka for four decades.

In Kotka, a visitor may run into a special vision-on the street, Pesonen, who is familiar with a bike from the children’s fairy tales, can be screamed at the Viiru-cat in his basket.

The man behind his role clothes is Jouni Jalovä, who lives in Kotka, 78. Peso ended up performing by chance.

At the turn of the millennium, Jalovo, who had acted in the acting age, became unemployed. He was offered various monologues, but nothing was so pleased.

Eventually HairThe theater director, the director of the musical Reijo Paukku found something that made the legs brighten up: Viiru’s birthdays.

– Then we started to do it, Jalovua says.

Originally, the play was performed upstairs in the theater. However, Jalovuo saw his problem.

– The theater studio was on the third floor and there was no elevator there. So the kids would come downstairs, take off the boots and overalls, climb the spiral stairs on the third floor, over half an hour wondering on the screen, after which they would get back down.

– They would have to do it terribly.

Jalovau got the idea.

– What if I went there, where are those mugs?

Paukku thought the idea was good, but hesitated, because the theater couldn’t have the ability to carry the legs around.

The footage solved the budget problem by loading the scenes in the wheel trailer. A one -man circulating theater was born, which has been going on for the thirty years.

– I got the scenes fit on the wheel cart. I put Pesonen’s clothes on and in the front of the Viiru wheel. The children then sighed from Peso, says Jalovo.

In addition to children, Viiru and Pesonen have also performed for the elderly in the nursing home.

When the footpath is not performing with Viiru, this sits in the living room on the fireplace. When the footpath raises the streak and explains this from the background, he suddenly stumbles from his mouth:

– Don’t lie!

– It always disagrees, says Jalovo.

– And I’m not. I always agree! Viiru whores back.

The fabric Viiru doll and the astonishingly loyal-looking role clothes are original, made at the theater stage. Only Pesonen’s shirt has changed, as Jalovu found more suitable for the character.

As a school friend Vesa-Matti Loiri

Jalovo says he has studied acting in Helsinki, the Finnish Theater School in Helsinki. He believes that access to the theater school was influenced by his choice of outfit.

– At that time I wore very light jeans, and those other guys then wore suits. I wasn’t very solemnly dressed at the time, says Jalovo.

He believes that because of his relaxed choice of outfit, the voters were in mind, and the doors to the theater school opened.

At the same time, Vesa-Matti Loiri studied at the school with Jalovea-albeit above a couple of years.

Rich home

When you step into the backyard of the foot, you will inevitably think about whether or not the environment inspires the role or vice versa. Red -painted house old will be a hundred years old in a couple of years. Jalovo has lived in the house since 1977.

The Jalovea Home is located in Metsola, Kotka. The garden -like neighborhood was originally called hunger, but Jalovu can tell the current name that came from the area’s workers in due course.

Inside the house, the abundance of the yard continues. The brownish wallpapers have numerous photos and paintings, and wooden bookshelves are filled with works.

The space is dominated by a copy of the portrait of Ilya Repin’s Archbishop. Jalovo says he has painted the paintings.

– I put the beak a little red. It is a certificate that the churchman has taken a little alcohol during working hours, Jalovo laughs.

Deaths in the family

One of the paintings is a woman’s child in her arms.

– I had a kid, John. He died of a brain tumor, Jalovo says.

Woman in the painting is the late wife of foot Sea. Jalovo says he and Merja have met in the theater – of course.

However, Merjan took breast cancer.

– The cancer came to the boobs where it spread to the lymph nodes and finally to the head.

However, the couple had two daughters with families. At least the grandchildren have not been proud of the role of their grandfather.

Instead, for example, in a shop and a doctor, the footpath is identified.

– Once I was in the doctor, that young female doctor stopped and asked if I was Pesonen.

Footproof digs out the printed Viiru and Pesonen cards in the stack. He tends to write wishes for them, usually for children.

This time he writes a card for the reporter.

“Gets to the mother sometimes to be kind, knows Viiru + Pesonen” The card reads.
