There has been no drama in the trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. Iltalehti put together what has happened in the Chamber so far.

In 2018, the Washington Post published an article in which Heard said he had experienced domestic violence and harassment. The article did not directly mention Depp as the author, but the male actor has claimed the text ruined his career in Hollywood.
The duo met The Rum Diary in October 2009. The relationship deepened into love and the duo officially began dating in 2012. Neither spoke of the relationship in public.

A couple of years later, they made their first public appearance as a couple. At the same time, People magazine reports that the duo are engaged.
The wedding was spectacularly celebrated in the Bahamas in February 2015. While everything looked happy and lovely to outsiders, the backdrop was buzzing.
What happened?
Both Actors accuse each other of violence and defamation.
The court has dealt with events after the 2014 Met Gala, among other things. Heard has said in court Deppin beat him at the end of the evening.
– He accused me of flirting with a woman at the Met Gala. We went back to the hotel room, he would push me and grab my clavicle. I remember he threw a bottle at me but didn’t hit. He hit the chandelier, Heard said.

As evidence of the case, Heard has presented pictures of bloody sheets and furniture. You can see Heard’s black under-eyes and swollen lips in the pictures.
Tough allegations have also been made about the couple’s joint trip to Australia in 2015. Depp said Heard threw him a bottle of vodka at the end of the dispute, causing the male actress to break his fingertip.
Heard, in turn, has described how Depp would have pushed a bottle of liquor inside him.
– My nightgown was torn from me. I was naked, slipping on the brick floor. He roars at me for ruining his life, Heard described in court.

Depp’s substance abuse and traumatic childhood have also emerged. The court has presented pictures in which the actor has been extinguished. Heard has had to explain the incident in 2009.
Heard was arrested in 2009 on suspicion of intimate partner violence. Police suspected Heard of hitting his then female friend, photographer Tasya van Reet, in the arm and snatching his necklace off.
– I haven’t beaten any of my partners. I never beat Mr. Depp or anyone else I’ve been in a romantic relationship with, Heard replied.
Allegations of betrayal
Depp has denied Heard’s allegations of intimate partner violence. She has accused the woman of betrayal during her marriage. According to Depp, Heard would have had an entrepreneurial relationship during his marriage Elon Muskin and the actor James Francon with.
Heard has admitted in court that Franco spent the night with him. The court showed how Franco and Heard are in the same elevator in May 2016. The duo head for the cameras to Heard’s apartment. The next day, Heard filed for divorce.

The woman has admitted the person in the pictures is Franco, but stressed the duo are just friends.
Depp has also been in the midst of relationship rumors as the trial progresses. Deppin and his lawyer Camilla Vasquezin there is rumored to be a warmer-than-usual relationship.
The press has inquired directly from Vasquez, but he has not answered any questions about the relationship.
The trial of the ex-couple is scheduled to end on May 27, after which the jury will make its decision.
