The legal wheels in the trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs are also grinding in New York over Christmas. A monstrous procedure in which rap colleague Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, has long been involved.

Torres went on to say that the plaintiff continues to suffer from depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and other health consequences as a result of the alleged rape. In addition, her lawyers from the Tony Buzbee law firm stated that Combs and his team had already threatened other victims in this case.
Motion denied by Jay-Z’s legal team
The judge acknowledged that “the balance of these factors will certainly shift” as the case progresses and that she plans to revisit the issue of anonymity later.
In another recent decision, a request from Jay-Z’s legal team was rejected. That’s why it’s about speeding up the individual proceedings against Carter.
