Unlike the north of the country, Noord-Holland hardly turns white today. Here and there some snow remains on the grass, but that’s it, says NH-Weerman Jan Visser.

The sky turns gray today, occasionally rain or wet snow can fall in the region. That wetness will continue to fall until tonight. In the morning it is about 2 to 3 degrees, it will be 3 to 4 degrees for the rest of the day.

The wind comes from the east and blows moderately to fairly powerful. At Texel and the IJsselmeer the wind blows vigorously. The wind weakens off the day and then starts to blow from the south.

Local wet snow

Tomorrow morning rain can fall, locally wet snow falls, but in the afternoon it will be drier. Tomorrow afternoon it will be 3 to 4 degrees today. The wind comes from the East and is ‘most moderate’, says Visser.

From Thursday it will be dryer. The sun shows itself more often and the temperatures get under zero at night. In the course of the rest of the week, this will last dry, slightly sunny weather.
