WET LEG, the debut album by British band Wet Leg, will be released on April 8th. The members Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers were already able to look forward to sold-out halls and festival tents all over Great Britain after the release of their first two singles “Wet Dream” and “Chaise Lounge”. Since then, three more songs have been released: “Too Late Now”, “Oh No” and “Angelica”. Now the indie rock duo has announced new live dates for Germany, presented by Musikexpress.

WET LEG was largely recorded and produced in London by Dan Carey and Speedy Wunderground. For Teasdale and Chambers, it was all about having fun. “I wanted to write funny songs, I didn’t want to get too carried away with sad feelings, I wanted to write things that were fun to listen to and play,” Teasdale says, “but then the sadness oozed out, too.” Nevertheless, the main goal of the album is to make people dance. Teasdale adds, “We want people to have a good time, although that may not always be possible.”
