Koen Meersseman, chairman of the Westhoek Transport Regional Council: “Despite previous promises, De Lijn failed to share current usage figures on a quarterly, line and annual basis and financial insights per measure with the regional partners. As a result, the region is today forced to agree to an internal assessment by De Lijn, which makes a clear substantive debate or proposing alternative measures virtually impossible.”
