The Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier continues to set standards in the retail area by combining a differentiated selection of flagship stores of large international and national brands with more local, more individual concepts. In conjunction with a variety of catering, entertainment and cultural offers, this creates a new shopping and lifestyle testing unique in northern Germany, which offers extraordinary experiences for both the local community and all visitors.

To further strengthen its premium cluster, the Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier has now closed partnerships with the women’s fashion brand Marc Cain, the British men’s outfitter Hackett and the skin care brand Aesop. The rental quota for the space for retail, catering, entertainment and culture is now 95 percent and interest in the remaining areas is great.

The three brands will move into their areas in the premium loop of the Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier, an exclusively curated area that is located around the Breuninger flagship store.

The premium label Marc Cain combines innovative designs, elegance and the highest quality. The new store in Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier is expanding the premium offer with exclusive women’s fashion to over 300 square meters and sets new accents in an inspiring shopping environment. The store will be the only one in the brand in Hamburg.

The traditional British brand Hackett has established itself as a leading name of classically inspired men’s fashion and strengthens the international attraction of the district. With its first-class corner location at the entrance to the Premium Loop, the new store in Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier will be a highlight at its opening.

Aesop was founded in Melbourne in 1987 and has developed the highest quality products since then. This includes care products for skin, hair and body as well as fragrances and accessories for yourself and at home. Aesop operates comprehensive research according to vegetable and produced ingredients in the laboratory and only uses those that are proven to be safe, effective and beneficial. The design of the new Aesop store in Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier, whose design language is reminiscent of the boat building, is ideally complemented by the district: a place for seafarers and skin care lovers.

The opening of the Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier is scheduled for April 8, 2025. The openings of the three new brands in the premium loop are planned for the further course of spring until early summer 2025.

Anna Laura Riemann, Leasing Project Leader Westfield Hamburg-Übersequartier at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, says: “We are very happy to expand our exclusive brand mix in Westfield Hamburg-Übersequartier to expand the renowned partners Marc Cain, Hackett and Aesop. With these international brands and unique concepts, we offer our visitors an even more extraordinary shopping and lifestyle experience and at the same time increase the radiance and attractiveness of our destination within the metropolitan region. ”

The premium loop becomes a highlight of the neighborhood and an important attraction for demanding customers. With its location near the cruise terminal and its circular route, coming from the water promenade, along the Breuninger Flagship Store to the central Überseeplatz around the subway station, it offers a crucial axis in the district. Other brands in the premium loop include Lacoste, Gant, Karl Lagerfeld, Tommy Hilfiger, Luis Treker, Läderach and Sephora.

Westfield Hamburg-Übersekartier: New shopping and leisure destination

The Westfield Hamburg-Übersequartier was designed for the community and will offer people a unique, access to life, work, shopping and spending time for everyone accessible. The areas of retail, gastronomy and leisure as well as the cluster for medical services include a total of around 170 concepts. A special characteristic of the rental strategy: Over half of the stores in the district rented on brands have not yet been represented in downtown Hamburg or a third has not yet been in Hamburg.

Breuninger, Inditex (with five stores, including one of the largest Zara flagship stores in Germany), H&M, Anson’s, Mango, Thalia, Intersport Knudsen, Rewe Piclum, Rewe Piclum, Lumières, Lego Discovery Center and Kinopolis, have been stuck as an anchor meal in the Westfield Hamburg-Übersequartier. In particular with the extraordinary entertainment and cultural offers, which mostly start their market entry in the city and region, a new experience and leisure destination, which is unique in northern Germany.

The offer is supplemented by apartments, offices, three hotels and the cruise terminal. The district is optimally integrated into the local infrastructure with its own subway station, bus lines and diverse mobility offers.
