Western tourists, including Germans and Italians, travel to North Korea for the first time in five years

For the first time since 2020, a group of Western tourists visited North Korea. The country closed its borders due to the Coronapandemie, but in January it became known that the city of Rason would again receive foreign tourists. The travelers-from the United Kingdom, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Greece, Austria, Germany, France and Italy-stayed in the port city for five days.
