Apple and Samsung, which dominated the Russian mobile phone market, announced in March that they would stop delivering phones to Russia. The Chinese Honor and Huawei also withdrew from Russia. The effects are beginning to show. According to Izvestia magazine, telephone sales in Russia have fallen by a third in the second quarter. At the same time, the market shares of different brands have gone new. In the first quarter, Samsung’s market share was 33%, but now only 18.5%.
