West Indian Coffee and Rosarito Concept Café: allies for a moment of specialty coffee and relaxation

Cynthia Muiños and Marina Barvato Bonorino met a few years ago, when the latter, along with her husband, Fabian D’Angela, decided to incorporate the specialty cafeteria into their Rosarito brand, dedicated to designer clothing and decoration. Cynthia, from her company West Indian Coffee, put together and guided the structure that they needed, since then, they have generated a relationship of support and growth from their own companies. With that bond consolidated by trust and teamwork, they decided to take their own activities outside the limits of their stores and began to design pop-up meetings at events for other companies where they share their knowledge of specialty coffee structures. “Our vision is to spread the passion for the brands we represent to more places and to make many fall in love, like us, with the wonderful world that surrounds coffee”, comment Marina and Cynthia.

So they were called by the Bilbao Group to accompany the renowned Swedish automotive manufacturer, Volvo Argentina, in an event together with Damian Betular at Cariló Golf. On this occasion, they chose to pair their incredible pastry with specialty coffee with a proposal based on innovative recipes such as coffee with Amarula, cold coffee with hibiscus syrup reduction, etc., by Elías Irurzun, SCA certified barista, also a member of the team West Indian.

These joint events between Rosarito and West Indian Coffee allow both brands to further boost their growth and take their experiences beyond the borders of their business in an updated, fun and, above all, innovative way.

– What was the idea you developed in your gastronomic proposal for this event in Cariló?

We are inspired by the pastry presented, to find the right recipes and surprise the guests with a novel proposal based on a well-known product such as coffee, starting with a special coffee and the quality of our equipment.

– What kind of events do you have in the future?

We are putting together a series of events aimed at pairing coffee with drinks and other specialty coffee bar proposals for business events and inaugurations. Our vision is to customize the proposal according to the requirements of each client.

– Do these proposals also have a pastry shop?

Yes, of course, we have a wide variety of pastries according to each event, we have different options that pair wonderfully with the coffee by Rosarito Concept Café by West Indian Coffee, which represents two large manufacturers of specialty coffee equipment (Iberital and Fiorenzato).

– Who was in charge of the recipes and preparations of the coffees?

The recipes and preparations are in charge of Elías Irurzun (@fa.barista), based on different extraction methods, espresso and manual filter coffee machines, from which each proposal is personalized thinking specifically of each event.

This was the first meeting of this type, a first approach with these brands, but we are convinced that it will be just the beginning of a series of meetings that will be projected from now on.
