New year’s suptour Zoetermeer

The seventh New Year’s Suptour will take place at the Noord Aa on Sunday, January 7, 2024. Experienced suppers are welcome to paddle on the Zoetermeerse lake. Afterwards you will receive a souvenir and you can have a nice chat with drinks and snacks. For safety, it is advisable to wear a wetsuit, surfing shoes and leash mandatory during the tour.

Sunset Boulevard Zoetermeer

Travel back to 1940s Hollywood with the musical this weekendSunset Blvd. Here you see the story of the once famous movie star Norma Desmond who tries to make a comeback. You will hear music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, performed by an orchestra of seventeen musicians.

Greg & Baud Productions brings a classic Christmas story to life.Scroogedoesn’t like Christmas. At home he is visited by ghosts from his past, present and future, who confront him with his greed. Magical Scheveningen The Hague

Scheveningen comes to life on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January Magical Scheveningen. From royal carriage rides to ice skating shows and fire acts: you can experience it all at this free event. Admire a life-size onesnow globe, enjoy a living music box and end the evening with a fire show. The program starts at 2:00 PM and ends at 7:00 PM at the Foodhall Scheveningen.

Winter weeks Madurodam The Hague

Until Monday January 8, Madurodam will be illuminated with thousands of lights during the winter weeks. Experience the Dutch winter in a special way, with snow-covered Christmas trees, ice on the canals and a miniature Elfstedentocht. There are winter treats on Winter Square and you can participate in additional activities, such as the winter treasure hunt or looking for snowmen.

On Friday, January 5 and Saturday, January 6, the park is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday, January 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost 22.40 euros and you buy them here.

Christmas ball tour through Delft

Until Sunday January 7, 2024 you can do a Christmas ball tour at De Papaver in Delft. With thirty questions about the Delftse Hout nature reserve, this treasure hunt takes you on an outdoor adventure. This year the questions focus on birds, in keeping with the current exhibition ‘The birds of Delft and surroundings’ in De Papaver. The four-kilometre tour takes about an hour and a half and is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Collect the letters on Christmas baubles, form a sentence and have a chance to win prizes.
