Video Irene Schouten and associates ‘full of swearing, ranting and gossip’
AMSTERDAM – The team of Irene Schouten and Jorrit Bergsma has detonated a bomb in the skating world a week and a half before the start of the Winter Games. Various parties involved were shocked after seeing the last episode of a video series by Team Zaanlander, in which top skater Ireen Wüst and national coach Jan Coopmans, among others, are treated with little respect. “I find it disconcerting and not very uplifting,” said Coopmans a few hours before leaving for Beijing.
