WEATHER FORECAST. Melting snow in the east of the country, clear skies and dry weather elsewhere | Weather news

In the southeast it is still heavily cloudy this morning with light melting snow east of the Hasselt-Charleroi line and light snowfall above 400 meters. Elsewhere it will be dry with gradually clearing skies that become wider. That’s what the RMI says.

During the morning the precipitation zone will leave our country and there will also be clear skies in the southeast. At the same time, quite a lot of cumulus clouds appear on the coast. There may be some heavy showers, especially at sea, some of which may reach the coast. The maximum temperatures are around -2 degrees in the High Fens, around +3 degrees in the center and around +5 or +6 degrees at the sea. The moderate northerly wind will usually become weak and temporarily variable. At the end of the afternoon it turns to the southwest.

Tonight and tonight showers move over the land from the North Sea. The showers can gradually become wintry, with sometimes melting snow in Lower and Central Belgium and snow in the Ardennes. At the end of the night, low clouds are formed in Upper Belgium with a chance of hoarfrost spots on the relief. The minimum temperatures are around -7 degrees in the High Fens, around 0 degrees in the center and around +4 or +5 degrees at the sea. The wind is weak and then moderate from southwest and moderate to quite strong at sea from west-northwest.

Tomorrow morning there are low clouds in the Ardennes with a chance of some snowflakes. Elsewhere, the day usually starts dry with clear spells. Showers are gradually moving from the North Sea to the southeast. These can sometimes become wintery – also in Flanders – and they can leave snow on the relief of the Ardennes. The maximum temperatures are between -1 degree in the High Fens and +5 or +6 degrees on the coast, and around 4 degrees in the center.
