We put the orange -flavored soft drinks for the blind test.
Soft drinks are essentially part of the summer. There is a great deal on the shelves of the shops for a variety of orange flour drinks from traditional “Jaffa” to more special soft drinks.
The jury of five journalists in Iltalehti tasted the orange -flavored soft drinks. Everyone gave a school grade on a scale of 4-10. The average of these grades became the final grade for each product.
The Iltalehti jury was blinded by the oranges of the shops. Kaisa Vehkalahti
The winner was a big surprise. The highest grade from the jury was a freeway orange flour drink. More of the jury was confused because they bet this was Hartwall’s Jaffa. The taste was described as familiar and nostalgic.
The silver position, on the other hand, rose to a soft drink of Coop’s orange. This was also betting on Hartwall’s Jaffa. The taste was described as sweet and familiar.
The Finnish classic, Hartwall’s orange garage, was third. None of the jury recognized this soft drink. According to the jury, this drink tastes authentic orange and juice ice.
