“We looked at death in our eyes”: Le Pen-count Marion Maréchal and her husband survive frontal collision in Italy

It could have been their last ride. Marion Maréchal, the niece of Marine Le Pen, and her husband Vincenzo Sofo, former MEP and confidant of Giorgia Meloni, were involved in a serious traffic accident in Calabria this weekend. “We looked at death in our eyes, but we were spared in a wonderful way,” wrote Sofo on Instagram. The couple came off “without serious injuries”, but is still in the hospital for observation.
