Samuji tells about getting bankrupt on the company’s Facebook page in English.

– We are heavily announced that Samuji Oy has been seeking bankruptcy due to unsustainable business conditions, the publication states in Finnish.

– Despite our efforts, the challenges of recent years and the rapidly changing business environment have stressed our operations. We have explored every possible road, but we have now reached a point where we have to close this figure.

Samujin was founded by a designer Samu-Jussi Koski in 2009. The company has been in trouble before, but has so far been saved. In 2019, it was saved through crowdfunding.

In 2021, Samuji went bankrupt and was bought by Nosh Company, who announced his application for a corporate reorganization in January. Samuj’s latest chief designer was Anne-Mari Pahkala.

Samuj’s Facebook release also praises customers for the past years.

-We want to express our warm thanks to everyone who has been part of the Samuji story-to all of you who have believed in us and shared our vision of beautiful, meaningful fashion.

– Our journey ends here, but we believe that Samuji will continue to live – in memories, values and wardrobes for years to come, at the end of the publication.
