LINZ (dpa-AFX) – The technology group Kontron expects further growth in sales and profits for the current year. The net profit is expected to rise to over 87 million euros in 2024, as the company focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) announced on Monday in Linz. Sales are expected to increase to over 1.4 billion euros. We are convinced that “the 2024 financial year will once again be a very good year,” said company boss Hannes Niederhauser, who pointed to full order books.
The preliminary figures for the past 2023 financial year indicate a strong fourth quarter and the fulfillment of all goals, both for the planned sales of 1.2 billion euros and for the net result of 72 million euros, Kontron also announced.
