Five water playgrounds are to be opened on Wednesday so that children in Mitte can play in and with water in summer temperatures. According to district councilor Almut Neumann (Greens), the splash pads on Weydemeyerstrasse and Eichendorffstrasse as well as in Goethepark, Schillerpark and Volkspark Weinbergsweg should then go into operation.
