In the second episode of the series De Podiumvuller, Jan Warringa is a guest on Radio Continu. The singer from Coevorden also shows how handy he is.
Celebrities can be found in Hilversum, Warringa visits Tweede Exloërmond. The stage filler is at Radio Continu to talk about new music.
Of course, the radio interview is accompanied by music by Warringa and that remains special for the Emmen resident. “I remember when my first record was played. You get into the car, turn on the radio and suddenly you hear yourself singing. Have I put on a CD, you wonder. That remains special.”
When Warringa gets tired of the spotlight, he does odd jobs in his backyard. His first years as an artist are spent demolishing his shed. “Shot here, shot there.”
“Then you feel popular. Then you feel important!”, said the stage filler while hammering away. “I always take a BVO with me. You know what that is?”
