Around 11 am a fire started at Galloo in the Wervikstraat in Menen. Piles of waste products grasp fire, which brought three fluvia costs (Menen, Kortrijk & Wervik) to extinguish. They quickly got the fire under control, but extinguishing the waste can still take a few hours. The buildings of the waste processing company have been spared from the fire.
