Shepelev has 150 appearances in the Russian national team and took part in several European Championships with them.

His move to Berlin was not easy after waiting many weeks for a visa to enter Germany. Dmitrii Kholod, Spandau’s top performer, is particularly pleased to be chasing goals with his Russian teammate for the water friends.
