Washed up after 109 years: letters from Australian soldiers from WWI found in a bottle

A special discovery has been made on the south-west coast of Australia: two message in a bottle, written by Australian soldiers during the First World War, have been found more than a hundred years later. The letters date from 1916 and were written on board a ship bound for the French battlefields.
