In the final, a decisive leading group of four emerged with: Mathias Vanoverberghe, Arno Verschaeve and Dovy teammates Victor Delbarge and Gaetan Warnier.
The battle for the provincial champion jersey was ultimately decided by a sprint, in which Warnier was clearly the fastest. Delbarge came second, Verschaeve third. Vanoverberghe finished fourth, but was crowned provincial champion in the elite 2.
The race did miss some top prospects because they were active in Paris-Roubaix this weekend.
