Spread over three nights, 525,000 overnight stays were registered on the Coast. The night from Saturday to Sunday was especially popular with around 200,000 overnight stays. This concerns stays in hotels, holiday homes, campsites, holiday parks and second homes.
The hotels also did excellent business. On average, the occupancy rate was 85 percent, with peaks above 90 percent. Many hotels were completely full thanks to numerous last-minute bookings due to the nice weather.
