Malaga debates on the presence of the Russian Museum

The mayor of Malaga, Francisco de la Torre, announced this Tuesday the call for an extraordinary plenary session on Malaga’s solidarity with Ukraine and the presence of the Russian Museum Collection in the city. De la Torre, in a message on social networks, collected by Europa Press, explained that the plenary session will be held this coming Thursday, March 10, at 1:00 p.m. Likewise, he has insisted that the Malaga City Council will do in relation to the Russian Museum “what the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation and the European Union say”. The Russian Museum, a municipal space, has been the source of discrepancies between the mayor and the opposition, specifically, the PSOE, whose municipal spokesman, Daniel Pérez, warned the councilor by calling an extraordinary and urgent plenary session if he did not depose the transfers to the Russian Museum.
