To light up a 76-year-old man from Gilze-Rijen, the police in The Hague are looking for the perpetrator. The suspect presented himself with the victim as a bank employee and told him that large amounts would disappear from the bill. Eventually 1800 euros were taken from the man from Gilze-Rijen.
The victim was called August last year by the so -called bank employee. The 76-year-old victim goes along with the story and pays several Tikkies: in total he transferred 1800 euros to a account that is unknown to him.
The man’s money, while he is still on the phone, is already included in The Hague, at vending machines on the Stede and the Hildo Kroplaan.
The suspect is clearly in the picture during the PIN transactions, as can be seen on Images of Team Westthe Omroep West investigation program.
