Anyone who wants to stay in the capital villa of Romee Strijd and her fiancé Laurens van Leeuwen can make that dream come true. The 28-year-old top model will soon rent out her million-dollar home in Pijnacker via AirBnb.
Strijd and Van Leeuwen announce on her Instagram – on which she has 8.3 million followers from all over the world – that they will soon become hosts. “We host one of you in our family home,” says Romee in English. “We will be there to welcome you and give you a small tour of our house. We hope you have the best time of your life,” adds Laurens.
The couple designed the villa themselves and the interior is completely decorated in beige tones, except for the children’s toys. Romee and Laurens had daughter June last year, Mint’s little sister (3). It was not self-evident that the model, who worked for lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret, became pregnant. She had not had her period for more than seven years and was diagnosed with diabetes in 2018 diagnosis of PCOS. Laurens is the son of EO presenter Bert van Leeuwen.
After Romee and Laurens’ house was finished a year ago, they gave a insight with a video on YouTube. The tour started in the immense living room and kitchen with a ‘big American fridge’ and ended in the garden with a child-friendly swimming pool, jacuzzi and real palm trees. There is also a large gym where the couple can hit the weights and a huge mobile television that can be mounted anywhere.
The house will be on AirBnb from December 18.
