With that, Wall Street closed the worst month for the broad S&P 500 and the technology exchange Nasdaq since March 2020 on a positive note. Interest rate fears gripped markets last month after the Federal Reserve announced it would likely raise interest rates as early as March to tackle the soaring inflation.
