Andrei Medvedev (26), the former commander of the Russian Wagner mercenary army who fled to Norway a few months ago, now wants to return to Russia. He made the announcement in a series of videos on YouTube. The Wagner deserter says he feels like “a little boy in a big game”. “I had hoped that I could find peace and quiet here, that I could leave all politics, the war and the army behind me. But I failed to do that.”
