Walking shoes or sneakers: what do you wear during your walk? Podiatrist gives advice for happy feet
If you don’t want to pay for your next walk with blisters or injuries, it’s best to put on a decent pair of shoes. But which footwear is ideal during your trip? Are adapted walking shoes a must, or are you also fine in your sneakers or even espadrilles? HLN Shop asked Kris Desaever, a podiatrist with an independent practice in Tielt and a sports podiatry teacher at the Artevelde University College in Ghent, for advice.
