The ruling of the Supreme Court of Justice, which favored the City of Buenos Aires, returned him with provisional nature 2.95 percent of the mass of co-participating funds. Said precautionary measure obliges the National State to transfer that money, which, however, does not satisfy the total claim of the City, which claims 3.50 percent. According to the Court, the decision will not affect the income of the rest of the provinces.
In 2016, during the government of Mauricio Macrithe participation of CABA in the co-participating mass had been raised by means of a decree from 1.40 to 3.75 percent, as part of the financing for the transfer of the police to the Buenos Aires area.
