Roelien Kamminga will be the new mayor of Groningen. With this she replaces acting mayor Mirjam van ‘t Veld, who held the position since last October and thus replaced Koen Schuiling. Kamminga, who lives in Zuidbroek in Groningen, is currently a member of the Lower House for the VVD.
