CDA Drenthe about the national nitrogen policy:
“Many entrepreneurs are working on sustainability. Our program is in Drenthe [voor] sustainable dairy farming an example for other provinces. But with the plans and the infamous map of Minister Van der Wal, there is now talk of a cold reorganization of our agriculture. Clearly: we cannot, will not and must not accept that! That is why we also have a task in Drenthe. Both from the deputy – and from the fraction of the provincial council – we cannot accept what has now been submitted. Adjustments must and can be made, because the approach must be area-oriented. We will and want to discuss this with our farmers and stakeholders. If we look at the whole with a little Drenthe sobriety, then there is room for nature and agriculture in Drenthe. Without contradictions, away from just the models, well balanced. That’s what we’re going for together.”
