VV Alkmaar has not been able to break pots against FC Twente. On a visit to the leader in the women’s premier league, the Tukkers won 5-0.
The game was over before the break. Fenna Kalma, Renate Jansen and Suzanne Giesen left VV Alkmaar goalkeeper Femke Liefting without a chance three times, making it a difficult evening for the Alkmaarders.
In the second half, VV Alkmaar could no longer close the gap. Danique Kerkdijk worked in a cross and top scorer Kalma made eye-to-eye with Liefting her second of the evening. With that she decided the final score at 5-0.
The Alkmaarders currently occupy the penultimate place in the premier league. The team has eleven points from sixteen games. On Sunday at 12.15 pm, VV Alkmaar will visit Ajax Women.
