The VPRO denies that the broadcaster has launched an investigation into its figurehead Arjen Lubach. It is not true what journalist Mark Koster claims about this, says a spokeswoman.

Journalist Mark Koster, who has worked for Quote in the past and has written a book about John de Mol, states in his podcast De Juice Show that the VPRO has launched an investigation into Arjen Lubach. According to his co-host Yvonne Coldeweijer, the presenter may have been guilty of transgressive behavior.

VPRO responds

The VPRO finally comes up with a response after half a day. “This is not correct. The VPRO does not investigate Arjen in any form whatsoever. We see no reason for that either,” said a spokeswoman for the broadcaster.

In doing so, the spokeswoman indirectly indicates that Yvonne’s claim that Arjen allegedly acted in a cross-border manner towards an intern is also incorrect.

Juice about Arjen

Yvonne is very much out for Arjen, because the presenter would display promiscuous behavior. “So it seems that on evenings when Martine has the children, Arjen visits the Amsterdam student houses in his Range Rover,” she claimed last week.

The latest accusations against Arjen are of course a bit more serious in nature, but according to the VPRO they are not correct at all.

Update 3.50 pm

Yvonne Coldeweijer responds to VPRO’s denial. She says: “VPRO is lying. There are things going on that we are not allowed to know.”
