The vote on the best burger restaurant in Finland begins today Monday. The Burger Lovers Finland food community is looking for the best hamburger restaurant in Finland. You can vote until Sunday this week until 8 June.
The winning restaurant will be announced on the eve of the Burger Lovers Festival on June 10.
The largest hamburger festival in the Nordic countries is now being held for the fifth time at the Rautatientori in Helsinki. 12 restaurants have been invited to the burger event, primarily representing the provincial burger pair. In addition to Kuopio, Hankasalmi, Kangasniemi, Varkaus, Turku, Rauma, Lohja and Espoo, there is also a new burger restaurant in Tallinn.
– This year we got an extraordinary number of pearls from the provinces, which will surely appeal to the burger people. Often, these slightly unknown burger artists from outside the Helsinki metropolitan area are also the most popular of the festival, says the founders of the Burger Lovers community Antti Suikkari in the bulletin.

The restaurants of the summer 2025 Burger Lovers festival are Grill Room (Hankasalmi), Burger 5 (Kuopio), Fisuburger (Kangasniemi), Harri’s Food Factory (Varkaus), 2 Friends (Rauma), Hiidenvesi Grill Truck (Helsinki), Pretty Boy Wingry, Social Burgerjoint and Turbo Burger (Tallinn).
Suikkari states that festival organizers are proud that restaurateurs arrive for a long time. Suikkari points out that the task is not easy, as transferring the entire operation of a single restaurant to the festivals requires a lot of work and arrangement.

The best hamburger restaurant vote is based on a list of more than 300 restaurants offering high -quality hamburgers, and you can also vote outside the list.
More than 20,000 votes were cast last year and the winner was Hankasalmi Grill Room. Previous winners are JJ’s BBQ in Salo (2022), Burger van Kotka (2023).
The Burger Lovers Festival will take over the Helsinki Railway Station from Wednesday to Saturday from 11th to 14th. June.
