A few volunteers were on the move in Bredene, including the young participant Noora Sap. “We want the beach to be clean. That is also important for the animals, so that they do not get entangled in waste,” she says.
Rudy Nokens also rolled up his sleeves and sees the need for the action. “I would like the beaches to be clean, so that it becomes more pleasant for visitors and tourists. The dunes are the worst, because people leave their garbage there without anyone seeing it,” he notes.
