Germany’s volleyball players clearly lost their endurance test shortly before the World Cup starts in the Philippines.

The team of national coach Michal Winiarski lost 0: 3 (19:25, 16:25, 22:25) against the host on Saturday evening at the preparation tournament in Turin Italian, the world ranking second turned out to be too strong.

The day before, the selection of the German Volleyball Association had a lot of self-confidence in the clear 3-0 win against the Netherlands, but the neighboring country is only in 19th place in the world rankings and thus eleven places behind Germany.

On Sunday, the DVV men decide to prepare with the test against Turkey (3:00 p.m.).

At the highlight of the season in the Philippines (12th to 28th September), Germany meets Slovenia, Bulgaria and Chile in Group E.
