Sixth stop in as many championship matches for the women’s Itas Trentino, with Savino del Bene Scandicci who was a corsair at the foot of the Dolomites in three sets. Inside Stocco dribbles but Dehoog shoots out the attack to 15-22 in favor of Scandicci. With the Tuscans flying to seal the three points.
Chieri-Pinerolo 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-21)

A PalaFenera fired up for the highly anticipated derby with Pinerolo saw coach Giulio Cesare Bregoli’s white and blue girls triumph 3-0, coming off a hard-fought 1-3 victory away to Vallefoglia. The presence of three former players made the derby even more heartfelt: Akrari and Storck in Pinerolo, Gray in Chieri. A good start to the match for the Chieri team, which was abruptly interrupted, however, at 11-11 in the first set with the slight ankle injury of captain Grobelna, who was replaced on the court by Anthouli. After a point-to-point battle Chieri takes the lead and overtakes, gaining a precious lead of four points, in which Skinner shines as he scores 5. After losing in the tie-break against Florence last day, the first 3-point victory arrives for Roma which takes a further step forward on the primary objective of the season, salvation. For Bergamo, fifth consecutive defeat in six matches. Match that begins with the two sextets paired until the hosts are the ones to extend the lead (14-10) thanks to the excellent attacks of Rivero (7 points) Bici (4) and Plak (3). The reception of the Giallorossi was also good as they managed to maintain the advantage they had accumulated until the end of the set (25-21). The Bergamo team, however, do not give up and try to regain the result thanks to a positive series of attacks and errors from Cuccarini’s girls (15-14). Plak takes care of taking the chestnuts out of the fire – with a great final of the set – which stops the Lombards at 25-22. Next day, away match in Pinerolo for the Wolves and home match for Bergamo against Chieri.
