Vlaming is increasingly reading in another language: one in five books sold is in English

The advance of the English -language book in Flanders is continuing. In 2024, no fewer than one in five books sold was in English, according to new figures from research agency GFK and Boektopia Boektopia. With 2.7 million copies sold, the sale of English -language books increased by 9.5 percent compared to 2023.
