At the STEM festival in VIVES University of Applied Sciences, 600 students of secondary knowledge can get acquainted with those directions, to convince them to follow such training in the future.
And those are not immediately the courses that you think of as standard. “We think that we sometimes have an image problem because people do not know that you can go in many directions with those training,” says Sofie Vanmaercke of the STEM festival. For example, sports technology and animal care are also covered.
