The consultant of the Sarandí pollster accompanied the message with a series of images in which the Corrientes representative can be seen Virginia Gallardo putting on makeup and taking a selfie on her parliamentary bench.
The former star and legislator of La Libertad Avanza responded to Chouza through the same digital medium. “She’s really hot! Shall I introduce her to you? Just because she clearly wouldn’t give you a big kiss,” tweeted the ex-girlfriend of Ricardo Fort. In other statements collected after the episode, the deputy minimized the fact and said: “Why don’t you take a photo of this beautiful trunk that leaves you many kisses? I didn’t know that cleaning myself, a kiss or taking a selfie was a sin in an intermediate room”, while denouncing an excessive exposure of her actions within the premises.
The aesthetic sequence that occurred in the Congress was during the exhibition of Manuel Adorni in the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation, where he refused to give explanations for his trips abroad. Of course, the photographs of the libertarian leader in that position were immediately viralized on social networks by dozens of users.
In his own publications, he also questioned what he defined as coordinated attacks on networks, referring to an “army of trolls” that amplified the controversy, in an attempt—according to his view—to divert attention from the political content of the session. The public defense was unable to completely dispel the criticism, which continued to revolve around the relevance of this type of conduct during an institutional event.
Gallardo had arrived at his bench as part of the political assembly of La Libertad Avanza, the space led by the president Javier Milei and his sister Karina, after the legislative elections of 2025. Coming from the world of entertainment – where she built her profile as a model, dancer and television panelist – her landing in politics occurred within the framework of the expansion of the libertarian space, which incorporated media figures and outsiders as part of its electoral strategy.
Candidate for the province of Corrientes, the libertarian candidate was elected national deputy and formally assumed office on December 10, 2025, joining the ruling bloc in the Lower House. During the campaign she had expressed her alignment with the ideas of the ruling party and defended the political direction of the government, positioning herself as a representative of the renewal that the space sought to impress in Congress. His incorporation is part of a broader logic of LLA, which from its beginnings combined technical profiles, militants and public figures with a high level of media recognition.
Thus, the selfie episode not only exposed a specific situation within the premises, but also revived discussions about the new emerging profiles of the ruling party, such as Karen Reichardt or Tronco Figliuolo. In addition to questioning the use of social networks in full legislative activity and the limits between the personal and the institutional in public representation.
