Vincent Janssen suddenly appears in the Orange pre-selection, including Clasie and Wijndal

Janssen currently plays for Monterrey in Mexico. His last international match dates from October 2017 when he played for Fenerbahçe. Janssen played one season at AZ in the 2015-2016 season and made a big impression. Thanks to the season in which he scored 27 goals, he deserved a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur

Jordy Clasie has also been included in the pre-selection of Orange. The AZ midfielder made his comeback in the selection in March. However, he did not come to playing minutes, so that his last international match still dates from 2017 against Belgium. Left back Owen Wijndal is also in the preselection.

Four Ajax players are part of the pre-selection: Steven Berghuis, Daley Blind, Davy Klaassen and Jurriën Timber. Former AZ players Teun Koopmeiners, Wout Weghorst and Guus Til are part of the 30-strong preselection.

The Orange squad will play four games in the Nations League in June. Belgium (June 3), Wales (June 8) and Poland (June 11) are the opponents. The national coach will announce the final selection on Friday 27 May.
