The cabaret artist and physicist Vince Ebert considers the actions of the climate protest group “Last Generation” to be “not particularly effective”.

“All these actions are too destructive for me. And they don’t produce any constructive solutions either,” said Ebert im Podcast “Die Wochentester” of the editorial network Germany and the “Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger”.

“If I’m just warning about the apocalypse, I’m creating fear and panic,” he said. And panic – this is known from brain research – is the “worst idea” to develop something constructive.

Climate protectors had repeatedly blocked roads recently. Members of the “Last Generation” also caused a stir in museums where they glued themselves to paintings or daubed them.
