During the board meeting of Dorpshuis De Flint, Henk Roelenga said goodbye on Thursday. Henk is moving to Franeker and must therefore finish his work for the construction of the new village hall in the new MFA in Nietap.
Chairman Geert Wolters thanked Henk for his great efforts in all the preparations for the soon to be built village hall. ,,Henk is creative, a go-getter and a man with a hard head. In case of adversity, he shakes his head and continues enthusiastically. The board regrets that he is leaving Nietap, but wishes him a lot of joy in life skating, looking for lapwing eggs, bouncing, flierljeppen and skutsje sielen in Friesland.”
To allow him to get used to his new environment, he was given a bottle of Berenburger and as a tribute and reminder he was not only given a new name, HENK FLINTSTONE, but also a weighty reminder of his efforts for the Flint event.
