President Alberto Fernandez traveled to La Rioja and there he met the runner-up of the Federal Roast Championship whom he congratulated in a video in which he also highlighted the organizers of the championship. What perhaps they did not notify the highest president is that the ones who put together the event he was talking about is the Government of the City of Buenos Aires. That is, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta.

The striking thing is that Fernández did not hesitate to tell all the provinces to send their representatives to the contest, which, he stressed, maintains this very Argentine tradition. And he added: “I also send a big hug to the jury and to those who organize this. And I also hope to enjoy some of those barbecues soon.”
Will the president know that the organizers of the Federal Asado Championship, for four years now, is the City Government, with Horacio Rodríguez Larreta himself at the head? Most likely not. And that, clearly, none of his advisers knew either.
