The expectations were high and the tension was fiercely. Beer flowed richly on the square and the emotions went in all directions.
After the extension, in which the score remained 1-1, the match went into penalties, but after misses from neighbor and Lahdo it was over for the Alkmaarders. The disappointment with the public was great: a part threw with plastic cups, others left directly from the square.
